American-Canadian Actor is returning to Hollywood with his new movie 'The Whale'
The movie was premiered at the 79th Venice Film Festival on September 4, Sunday night
Brendan Fraser got a six-minute standing ovation during the world premiere of his new film 'The Whale'
In the movie, Brendan Fraser stars as a 600-pound gay man and English teacher confined to a wheelchair.
The premiere in Venice took place inside the Sala Grande Theatre.
53-year-old actor is well known with his roles in The Mummy trilogy
And 1997's 'George of the Jungle'
Brendan Fraser was last seen in a lead role in the 2013 film Breakout
The Whale will hit the theatres on December 9.
